Application module: Schematic element library

1 Scope

This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module Schematic element library. The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• the definition of a schematic element;

  NOTE 1   This capability is provided by the referenced Schematic_element application module.

• set theory relationships between schematic element definitions;

  NOTE 2   This capability is provided by the referenced Set_theory application module.

• a symbolization relationship between a schematic element in a library and the thing that it symbolizes.

  NOTE 3   This capability is provided by the referenced Symbolization_by_schematic_element application module.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• the occurrence of a schematic element on a drawing.

  NOTE 4   The occurrence of a schematic element on a drawing is within the scope of the Schematic_drawing application module.
