Application module: Schematic drawing

1 Scope

This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module Schematic drawing. The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• a complete schematic drawing with its administrative data;

  NOTE 1   This capability is provided by the referenced Schematic_element and Drawing_structure_and_administration application modules.

• page connectors, and their relationships.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• a library of schematic element definitions (i.e. a symbol library);

  NOTE 2   A library of schematic element definitions is within the scope of the Schematic_element_library application module.

• the relationship between a schematic element and the thing that it stands for.

  NOTE 3   The relationship between a schematic element and a product or activity that it stands for is within the scope of the Symbolization_by_schematic_element application module.
