1 Scope

This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module Resource item. The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• the definition of a resources;
• the definition of a grouping of resources as a resource in its own right.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• the detailed descriptions of resource items;
• the resource management capabilities;
• the resource logistics capabilities;
• the specification of required resourses;
• the recording of used resources.
