Application module: Class

1 Scope

This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module Class. The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• the existence of a class or set;
• the distinction between a class or set that is defined by abstract criteria, and a class or set that is defined by enumerating its members.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• classification and the specification of complete set membership;
• set theory relationships;

  NOTE    Set theory relationships are within the scope of the set_theory application module.

• mappings between sets or classes;
• relationships that are not set theory relationships.
